Our in-house seamstress Erin (aka Lil Luvroc Designs) offers fast & affordable alterations, repairs, tailoring, & custom design projects. She also creates all of our East Vanity Made items, including silk sleep bonnets, pillow cases. scrunchies, towel head wraps, & stunning one of a kind robes from upcycled materials.

Erin is in the studio Monday to Friday, until 3pm. If you have a special project or require an in person fitting, please reach out to us to schedule an appointment.

Our in-house photographer, Teresa Marie, is an internationally published photographer, model, & wardrobe stylist with over 20 years of professional experience, which also includes videography, set building, pose coaching, event coordination, and talent management. She is the CEO & Creative Director of Honeys & Harlots, a multimedia company that has specialized in queer, body positive, SW friendly services for content creators and other entertainers since 2017.

She is passionate about community and creating safe, inclusive spaces for people to express themselves. When she isn't at EVP, you can find her shooting on location or at her home in East Vancouver.

The Body Politik was founded in 2015 on the belief that self-care should be accessible, affirming, and free from judgment. We exist to create a body-positive, queer, and trans-friendly space where care is rooted in respect, inclusion, and authenticity.

Artist Jennifer Little, has over 25 years in the Fashion & Entertainment industry with experience in Weddings, TV & Film, Editorial & Private Photoshoots, Competitions, Art Direction, Music Videos, Commercials, CTV, Instructor at Blanche Macdonald Center & Airbrush Instructor at Vancouver Makeup Effects.
Her work has been published in local & international fashion magazines, including VOGUE Italia.

In addition to the continuous education provided to our team, we also offer apprenticeship training, entry level stylist training, and our associate program.

At EVP, we cherish creativity and individuality, understanding the significance of aspiring hair stylists exploring their potential. Finding the perfect salon and building clientele can take time so we strive to boost our students' confidence in their work as quickly as possible.

While we do provide opportunities for students to join our team at East Vanity Parlour, our main objective is to prepare them to stand independently as valuable team members in any salon.

The Dolly Room is a fun, brightly coloured 117 square foot treatment room that has been utitilized for pop-up markets, workshops, photoshoots, bridal prep, private hair/makeup appointments, tattooing, and more! It is equipped with a sink and can be set-up to include a vintage vanity and salon chair when necessary. We offer hourly, daily, and weekly rates.
