MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: We are so excited to announce that The Body Politik Wax Bar has moved in and is now operating full time out of The Cyndi Room at East Vanity Studio!

Established in 2015, The Body Politik was born to fill a need for Body Positive and Queer / Trans friendly self-care services in Vancouver. Inclusive values have always been at the core of what we do, and we have a reputation for providing quality services with care and compassion.

Pricing services based on anatomy rather than gender, respecting pronouns, and creating an environment free of negative body talk are some of the ways founder Carmen provides a safer space for folks from all walks of life to access self-care services.

Specializing in waxing - especially Brazilian / intimate area waxing for all genders - you can expect a no nonsense approach to client education, bodies, and the variety of ways they show up in the world.
